Greetings in the name of Jesus! Gateway Woods has a crucial need for houseparents. In 2024, the residential program at Gateway Woods received referrals for 595 young people who needed treatment. We were able to place 24 or 4% of those young people. We want to be able to serve more children and families, but we need people to come serve with us! This is a great opportunity for mission-minded couples of any age who are ready to live out their faith with young people, many of whom have never heard about Jesus. We believe our denomination supports the mission of Gateway Woods and that God is still leading people into his service. We would encourage couples/families to pray about this opportunity and to reach out with any questions. There is an information sheet posted on the bulletin board that includes contact information for people at Gateway Woods who can answer your questions. This is a full-time paid position with benefits in one of the most highly rated residential treatment facilities in Indiana.

After much prayer regarding the future of the Lamar, MO congregation, the local brethren desire to make the brotherhood aware of the need for 4-5 singles/families to return the church to a sustainable condition and avoid some harder decisions in the near future. Please see the attachment emailed on 1/26/25 for more information and especially an encouragement for prayer for discernment during this time.

Onward Media will be initiating a second printing in the near future and is open to feedback on the layout before a second printing.  If you have feedback it can be sent to me.

The next Wednesday evening topical presentation is scheduled for February 5 and will be titled, “The Transformed Life: God’s Call to a Living Faith”.  Start time will be 7:30 PM.  All are invited to attend.
